When we are talking about the entire pet ensemble, we are not just talking about Dog Collars alone. We are more concerned about dog clothes which are fashionable yet functional. Many of us dismiss as just pure fancy of dog owners, these garments are meticulously designed for a specific function or purpose.

The dog clothes are tailored with a degree of high craftsmanship and are mostly designed to toy and small dogs such as terrier, dachshund, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, etc. Dog Clothing is a fashion statement of your favorite dog while performing a practical function especially when the temperature starts to drop.

Why should you consider purchasing an outfit or coat for your dog? When it comes to sudden dips in temperature and changes in the weather, you should be very careful with your short-furred dogs. These types of dogs don’t have the body mass that can keep their body temperature stable. The dog fur can get damp as it can absorb the moisture that comes from the ground up during cold weather.

Once this happens, the insulating capability of the furred body is impaired leading to a drastic drop in the body temperaturein the puppy. This explains why some dogs easily catch a chill especially in cold weather. This is the prime reason why it is essential that we use dog clothing to protect our little friends from the harsh effect of the nippy winter.

Most of us consider our pets as members of our families. We also buy them cozy beds in the home with controlled climate. Their bodies do not have environmental cues to respond to seasonal shifts. Dog clothing goes beyond fashion. Working dogs|Police dogs and search and rescue dogs} must wear coats and appropriate dog booties to protect them from the winter weather.

In general, short haired dogs need protection from temperatures drops as they are more vulnerable than a breed with long and thick coats. Dog clothing that functions as sweatshirts are fleece-lined coats and booties are the essential winter outfits for protection from frost bites, ice and the bitter cold temperatures. There is now an item called a dog wrap that blankets the collar and butt of the animal.

You should use hooded jackets for your dog in your early morning walks especially during those windy days. Take care not to let an active dog get over heated. It is important for the owners to observe for any signs of panting or any behavior that would indicate that the dog is overheated.

Be very careful that you do not allow the dog on the walk to ingest any antifreeze since this is highly toxic. A trace amount of the anti-freeze can already be harmful to your dog.

In the evening, your dog can look great in cozy pajamas. You should provide your little friend with warm bed with a blanket to keep him comfortable even during those coldest nights. You may give your dog an extra late snack with a high caloric diet that dogs need to generate extra body heat especially during winter.

Winter is over and its time to get back outside with your dog. Its great having time to bond with your pup but it is not all that fun if your best friend can not listen to your commands. If you are similar to a variety of other people who have no idea how to train their dogs, you have probably tried shocking or pinching collars as well as verbal reprimanding. This spring, why not try out a new version of training called Puppy Clicker Training. This revolutionary new tool uses a high-pitched clicking noise that not only captures your dog’s attention but holds it long enough for you to teach them to sit or lie down. I reside in Silver Springs, Maryland and I can absolutely guarantee that Silver Spring Dog Training is some of the best available.

When your dog will not lie down and pay attention, and your commands to your pup seem to be useless, a new tool may be exactly what you need to fix your doggy’s listening issues. My two dogs, a Labrador and a Shiba Inu, are both very rambunctious and don’t always pay attention directly on command. So, just to try it out, I purchased a new puppy clicker tool and tried it out of my dogs. At the beginning when I had first clicked the button my dogs had their ears perked up and immediately pointed their attention towards me. I was very surprised because it seemed as if the sound would annoy them, but it definitely worked well.

I contemplated taking my dogs to a real trainer but then realized that it would probably be better to train them myself, that way they understand who is in charge and who is their master. A dog trainer is helpful but has ultimately failed for my pups in the past. Don’t get me wrong, they are great dogs, they just need a little direction when it comes to behaving around other dogs and people when in public. My black Labrador, Gracie, is a bit older then Maxwell, the Shiba Inu, but she has never completely learned everything about her behavior. This is why I was so excited that the puppy clicker tool even worked on the older dog. Maxwell, the younger reacted very quickly as well, but he was a bit easier.

My dogs were extremely well behaved after I began using the puppy clicker tool and best of all hiring a trainer or taking them to dog classes was not necessary. The puppy clicker tool works great to use at home or at the dog park where there are lots of people. The best part is that the clicker can be heard from far away. So, if you are at the local dog park and you both are far away from each other try using the puppy clicker tool. A dog’s sense of hearing is already really sensitive, making it even easier to get your dog to listen and behave correctly.

The puppy clicker tool can be really helpful for you and your dog, leaving nothing but peace of mind and silence when you need it in your home. Try it to find out if your dog can behave better as many others have tried and succeeded as well!
