A dog that has run himself ragged or finished a game of catch or has just been fed will appreciate a place that allows him to catch some sleep - and in comfort. A comfy dog bed is the prefect thing to get for your doggy, as he’ll just love using it as his own little private space.

It’s probably not a good idea to always let your dog sleep in your bed, and by providing his own doggy bed may help with his overall training. All you need to do is make sure you provide a really comfy bed for your dog to use. Soon you’ll start to see how much your dog loves it, because she’ll always want to rest in it.
Don’t under estimate the importance for a dog to sleep in the same spot each night. While it’ll be easy to simply make up your own doggy bed, you needn’t bother because there are just so many dog beds you could get over the Internet.
Before you pick your dog’s bed you need to ensure you’re buying something that suits his behavior, personality as too sleeping habits. With many different styles to choose from it makes sense to look at all the options including round nests, cuddler beds, round and fluffy bed as too simple flat and square mattresses. So stop and watch how your dog likes to sleep. Does he like to cuddle up, or stretch and spead himself all over the place? A bolster type dog beds will suit a cuddler, while matress type of bed would suit the dog that’d need more space while sleeping.
And size does matter when it comes to choosing a dog bed. This means ensuring that the bed is sufficiently large or small to keep your pet comfortable. After all a small dog would only need a small doggy bed, while larger dog breeds such as the German Shepherd, or Great Dane, will need a substantially bigger and more sturdy dog bed. Just look for a dog bed that is a little bigger than your dog, and if you have any doubt, there are size giudes online to help you out.
When you start researching a dog bed, some of the more popular types are the bolster dog beds, pillow dog beds, and even orthopedic dog beds. Another thing you should look out for, is to make sure the bed you select can be easily washed. And some dog beds contain cedar filling, and since cedar is known to repel fleas, this could be an ideal feature to consider. Lastly, consider the area and space you have for the dog bed, as well as whether it will be an inside or outside bed for your dog.
